Turkey Scholarships, or Türkiye Bursları, is the official scholarship program of the Republic of Turkey. This scholarship program not only provides financial support but also guarantees a university place for students in their chosen course of study. In addition to university education, the program aims to provide students with the benefits of social, cultural and academic extra-curricular programs and activities during their stay in Turkey. Since its implementation in 2012, the Türkiye Scholarship Program has seen a significant increase in the number of applications, with more than 150,000 applications received in 2019.
Today, the program is well known in many countries around the world and provides support to scholars, researchers and government officials from other countries. The program includes various modules for research and education in the Turkish language.
